Features
Use Expressivo with your favourite programs!
If you're a Skype user, you'll be pleased to hear that Expressivo can read chat messages written using the communicator. It just takes a couple of moments to get your Skype to talk.
Integration is really simple. On starting up Expressivo and Skype, the communicator detects Expressivo seeking access to it. Accepting the link initiates the integration.
Now you can get up from the computer. Also, if you wish, the program can inform you which of your friends has logged onto Skype, or read all the text messages you're sent, without you having to sit glued to the screen.
iTunes is an excellent tool for cataloguing and managing your library of recordings on your computer. Thanks to the integration of Expressivo with iTunes, it's childsplay transferring audiobooks onto your iPod.
If iTunes is installed on your computer, all you have to do is make sure the "Add created files to iTunes" option is ticked in the "Reading to file" window.
Recordings made using Expressivo are automatically catalogued and added to the iTunes library. You can then easily copy the audiobooks you’ve created onto your iPod as you've done so far with your favourite pieces of music.
Another program which Expressivo smoothly integrates with is the popular text editor Microsoft Word 2007. Now you can start listening to texts without reading them into Expressivo, using the convenient buttons located on the Word toolbar.
Text reading directly from Word is excellent while proofreading texts.
The integration of Expressivo with the above-mentioned applications isn't all. Thanks to the "Highlight and read" option (located in the "Tools" menu) Expressivo can read text from virtually any source - from the simplest text editor, to Internet browsers to spreadsheets.
Just switch on "Highlight and read", highlight any text and click the "Read" button.
